Calling all Space Rangers!

April 7, 2014

Are you ready for some 1950’s science fiction goodness? I hit a clothesline at lunch today after practically inhaling my sandwiches so as to maximize hunting time. I hit this target only seconds after turning on the machine. At first I was thinking Buzz Lightyear, but as I looked at the age of the cast … More Calling all Space Rangers!

The old turns out “new”

April 2, 2014

I had been checking out a particular house for a little while, anticipating hunting it. It is a 1920’s style home in the country. A great place! I finally found an hour to “test” the ground to see what I could turn up. As I hunted, I kept turning up late 1970’s and early 1980’s … More The old turns out “new”

DUG has recently moved to another part of Thailand. A part with no written history prior to 200 years ago. It’s not easy to find places with ancient known history like it was in Chiang Mai. So the adventure begins anew. The rains have come and fields to hunt are few and far between, but DUG will find a way. Stay tuned. Using this time to catch up on editing old videos now. So check out the channel.
This spot seemed so promising. Major swimming beach on a river. But so far it’s a bust. And yes, I did try by the water. All of this beach should be close to underwater as we are in a drought right now.
The wall of fun in my new studio.
Nice job Tacticalgearjunkie.com. Gonna look good on the camelbak.
Not a big score day but it was nice to be outside. All this from a civil war/ period village site. Found a pistol shot and some buck and ball. That iron about killed me carrying it out. Ha. Love finding horseshoes.
This ring got me pretty excited at first... I was thinking gold... alas, stainless steel. Oh well. Still a fun find that got the ole ticker pumpin’. #atmax #garrettatmax #ringrecovery
Now it’s getting crazy! Just popped another coin. A barber quarter! 1911. This place is HOT!!! . . . . . #barberquarter #garrettatmax
Are you kidding me?!? Second coin of the day. Barber half. 1894. It fooled me because it was so gunked up. Gonna have to be more careful next time. . . . . . #garrettatmax #garrettatmaxmetaldetector
This is how to start a day. Not even five minutes into the hunt and this is my first find. . #garrettatmax
