Challenged my Dad to a 10 Target Metal Detecting showdown. Come see who won!
Almost 2 years ago, we put D.U.G. on the back burner. As a matter of fact, we took it completely off the stove completely. Spencer got very busy with SAR Global Tool and Jason had to focus on his new job in Thailand. A commitment that Jason made was to focus completely on his new … More Time to get back in the game
I had the wonderful privilege of joining the guys from Garrett Metal Detectors and testing out the new Garrett Pro-Pointer AT. And put it to the test we did. Check out the video below and see what kind of nasty conditions this little bad boy can handle. Brian from Garrett also shot a video which … More Back to the Civil War site with a new weapon.
Are you ready for some 1950’s science fiction goodness? I hit a clothesline at lunch today after practically inhaling my sandwiches so as to maximize hunting time. I hit this target only seconds after turning on the machine. At first I was thinking Buzz Lightyear, but as I looked at the age of the cast … More Calling all Space Rangers!

We have a great little spot to hunt where several houses used to be. They are clearing the lot to build a store. Also have some other cool … More Tootsie toys rock!
Here is Andrew’s official editing debut. He, Conner and I went to Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to one of our favorite spots. Conner did some of the camera work on this one. Without any further ado, here it is: http://youtu.be/G3rzIAoNJEA
A new Quickdig is only a day or so away. What’s special about this one is that it was shot and edited by my sons, Andrew (15) and Conner (11). Not too bad of a job if I say so myself. In the meantime, check out the nurses pin, buckle and Buffalo nickel I found … More Quickdig coming!
Had a couple hours to run out to a easy site and look what I found! My first silver half dollar. Can I say I was absolutely stoked?!? Headed back out today with my oldest son Andrew. I have video footage on this find, so a Quickdig is called for on this occasion. -JME
